Inception - Open Thread

This is an open thread for your thoughts on the Cardiff sciSCREEN screening of Inception, sponsored by the Neuroscience and Mental Health Research Institute, at Chapter Arts Centre. What did you think about the film, the event itself, and about the issues raised during the audience/panel discussion that followed?

  1. Hi everyone, many thanks for the excellent turn-out on Friday. In an attempt to start this thread, I would be interested to know what you thought of the event and the talks? Whose talks did you enjoy and why? In terms of the actual film, what did you think of the final scene? Do you think Dom Cobb was in another dreamscape, or was that 'reality'?

Finally, a question about the blog. Do you think the blog is a useful addition to sciSCREEN? Do you follow the blog? We'd be very interested to find out.

    Many Thanks

    Jamie

I greatly enjoyed the screening, and the discussions afterwards. Everyone loves free food and wine.

As for the final scene? I think it was reality, because, well, if it wasnt, then that means the whole movie was cobb dreaming surely? As they planned it out in real life first,
